I Miss You. I'm Going Back Home To The West Coast.

I got a package on my doorstep today from my best friend in NYC who just so happens to know what I like when it comes to music. This disc has an awesome track, West Coast, from Jason Schwartzman's new band, Coconut Records.

I know this album came out in March, but damn, Schwartzman just keeps cranking out indie/pop that is so catchy and adorable I can't stop hitting repeat. I was a fan of Phantom Planet, but I think he's bumped it up a notch with this new project.

Check out West Coast on their Myspace and buy music from Coconut Records on iTunes.

Here's a little live footage too:

I have always loved Phantom Planet, I think that they are a very talented band with really catchy songs. Lately, I've also really been into the Lovemakers. Their new CD is really great, lots of fun with a great combination of rock and dance. You can learn more about them at WWW.FUZZ.com

The actual video for this song is pretty sweet. You wouldn't think an indoor skateboarding/performance art show would fit with it, but it does.
