Music journalist and pop-culture analysist, Chuck Klosterman, will be at The Decatur Book Festival this Sunday, September 2nd at 2:30pm. He's being interviewed live by Josh Jackson on the Decatur Library Stage.
I personally heart Klosterman because I find him to be one of the most honst and intelligent music critics today. He's a senior writer for SPIN, has contributed to Blender and a handful of other notable publications and has written some great books including Killing Yourself To Live: 85% of a True Story, Fargo Rock City, and more.
Basically, if you love music and pop-culture you should be there. It's free.

Ok, this was totally awesome. Chuck was hilarious and signed my entire collection of books (yeah, I am a nerd).
If you haven't read any of his stuff, pick up Killing Yourself To Live (my personal favorite)
Darth Vader becoming a go-go dancer in Jabba's palace would be considered a very "Advanced" career move... : )
Becoming a Jedi would just be "Obvert"...
Peter Criss turning his back to the camera even after KISS was unmasked . . . very ADVANCED ;)
Yeah, I think I just took it to a whole new level of nerdy.
Yeah you did.
People would respect music a lot more if they read Klosterman.
Seriously.
Challah!
...bread.
