Dying to hear something scary?

In the spirit of the season, I thought it would be fun to share with you some creepy songs (some are featured currently here). I know there are many more out there, so feel free to share your favorites, too. Trick or treat and Happy Halloween! :-)

"Song for Athene" - John Tavener
"Humming" - Portisehead
"Rosemary's Baby" - Fantomas
"Red Right Hand" - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
"Buck Dich" - Rammstein
"New Born" - Muse
"Blue Jay Way" - The Beatles
"Revolution 9" - The Beatles
"Dead Souls" - Joy Division
"Tender Talons" - Ladytron

You might be scratching your head with the last one, but I saw it on an "X-Files" episode and it creeped me out. Also here are some good soundtracks to listen to:

Psycho
Vertigo
Requiem for a Dream
Halloween
The Exorcist
Rosemary's Baby

I just thought of an album that is pure terror: Lustmord's "Heresy". By far, that's the most frightening compilation of ambient noises I've ever heard. It's been described as "a soundtrack to Hell".

Also, Aphex Twin's "Rubber Johnny.

I'm trying to think of a particular Naked City or Dresden Doll's song I would consider creepy, because I know plenty exist, but I can't right now ...

Chris: I would like to hear this "Heresy" you speak of...

Leah: Rosemary's Baby is indeed great! Everytime it gets to the part where she has to drink that shake, I can almost smell how bad it is!

KC and the Sunshine Band: "I'm Your Boogie Man". And White Zombie did a scarier cover of it.

Blue Velvet kind of made Roy Orbison's "In Dreams" creepy.

Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Bad Moon Rising".

I'm rusty on "I'm Your Boogie Man," anything by Roy Orbison is creepy, I LOVE "Bad Moon Rising!" I heard it on American Werewolf in London- it was perfect!
